Hello Bloggers and Beach Lovers!
As you know from the previous blog, we made it to Lake Tahoe. We spent the afternoon catching some sun and watching all the kids play on the beach. One of the games a 4 year old was playing was a fun one for me. I enjoyed watching her chase the geese toward us while Jamie freaked out!!!! We would be in mid-sentence and all of a sudden she would stop talking and look over my shoulder at her favorite winged animal. The geese and ducks waddled up and down and across the beach the entire time we were there, it was fun. :) There was also 'nature woman' who wore goose feathers in her hair and rode around the lake on a log that washed up on shore- very entertaining for the both of us.
Today, we were going to go for a 5 mile round trip hike to Upper Echo Lake, but I am not feeling up to it. Last night, we were in the spa for no more than 5 minutes when I felt light headed and had to leave. I am feeling a bit better today, but I think Rot3K, Sunset Riders, and Mario Bros. are appropriate for today. Maybe another walk around the neighborhood like yesterday.
well, Jamie is still in the shower, better go handle Cao Cao!

I got attacked by a pigeon last week in a parking garage. I hate birds, too!
Oh, Jeff, I found that website. Endorsed by Erik Estrada himself. Enjoy! Maybe you guys can go there on your next roadtrip!

See you both in 2 days, have fun in Tahoe, temps have dropped here and are actually comfortable. Love Mom O
Perhaps this will help, from the Ohio State University Extension!
If you encounter an aggressive goose, be sure to maintain direct eye contact with the animal and face your body directly towards the attacking goose. Do not turn your back or shoulders away from the goose, and do not squint, close, or cover your eyes. If the goose makes an aggressive move towards you, you should slowly back away while maintaining a neutral demeanor (i.e., do not shout or kick).
and if it doesn't help, maybe this will.

Jeff and Jamie,
Well, I know I am a couple of days behind, but I now know how to set up our next driving trip back east-who knew there were so many Taco Johns and Taco Time restauants once you get out of California.
Welcome to California-I am one of those "unusual" people-I was born in California and have lived here most of my life, so I believe it is the "best" place to live.
Looking forward to seeing you both at Brooke's 1st birthday party.
Linda Miller(and Gary too.)
