A Bridal Shower in California!

I'm such a lucky girl! Jeff's mom, Pat and her close friends: Pat, Jan and Joan threw me a lovely bridal shower which many of my friends and family travelled for from out of state and around the Bay Area.

It was really nice to see Pam, my grandma Phyllis and Ashley. They worked hard to make it a special weekend even fitting in time to help make our wedding invitations for a few hours on Saturday.

We had a delicious lunch pool-side and only had to play one truly embarassing shower game where everyone got to see pictures of me as a flowergirl in my aunt Deb's wedding some 20+ years ago!
The company was fantastic and all the gifts were really nice too. How perfect was it that we had just moved into our new house so we had room for all our nice stuff and were able to start using it right away!

Who says there isn't a role for the groom at Bridal Showers!

The favorite gift of choice currently: Jeff's quesadilla maker!

He uses it pretty much every other day! And we are having fun with all the rest. Thank you for making our first wedding shower such a perfect celebration of our upcoming Wedding.

Love,

J&J
