May has been busy, I spent 30 hours in the Chicago area to celebrate my grandparents' anniversary, it was a whirlwind of a trip but so excited to see my parents and extended family.

My sister and I with my mom and dad.Then for Memorial Day weekend we went camping up on the North Coast near Ft. Bragg & Mendecino. We could hear the ocean at night from our campsite. It was beautiful.

The beach was only 10 minute walk from where we camped. We took an 8 mile walk along the beach that day. Ended up tired and a little sunburnt but it was well worth it.
The woman at the visitors' center said it would be hard to find fully round sanddollars as the birds always eat them as soon as they float to shore. But we found one, our lucky day!
