Just a small picnic!

Hi All, while Jeff likes to do his blogs in the morning, i prefer to do a brain dump before heading off to bed. We seem to be more exhausted while on "vacation" than when we are working stiffs! Must be the heat and humidity here in the good ol' Midwest!

California -Here I come!
Today we had a great friends and family picnic at a local park in East Moline. It was a great way to get all my family (on my dad and pam's side) in one place to share in the excitment of my move! Friends were invited too. In total I think we had about 30 people in attendance.
Here's a photo of the adoreable (and delicious) cake that Pam had made for me.

The Family
It was great to see so many Allmendingers and Blomme-Wetzsteons in one place (yep we have a lot of last names in this family) From my Grandma to my little cousin Ian, I'm lucky to have such a supportive family to wish both of us well on our journey! My uncle Brent who writes and sings some of his own music even made us a cd to listen to in the car during the trip! Here are some pictures of the family. From left to right - myself with my stepsister, Ashley. Jeff and My grandma A. and us with Brent, Carol and their kids, Cara and Ian.
