Yep that's right, I turned 29 on April 29th this year. And I think I'll stay 29 forever now thank you very much.
Jeff and I hit the highway to live it up for a few days in San Luis Obispo and Pismo Beach for the weekend. We picnicked near the ocean and as you can see from this picture, my favorite bird friends knew exactly where to find me on my birthday.
That evening after walking around historical San Luis Obispo for more than an hour to find a place for dinner, we settled on the first spot we walked by :) During our stroll though we saw many important sites like the Mission (not pictured), Gum Alley (YUCK! Don't touch Jeff!) and I discovered how unsafe most of their buildings are in this town!
The next day we did a little wine tasting at Claiborne & Churchill (which their tasting room is a straw-bale building just like Camp Arroyo) and Edna Valley.
It was a great weekend getaway and our last for a bit as we become new homeowners.
