Another fabulous day here in the QCA (Quad Cities Area). Jamie and I lazily got up and went out to breakfast with the 'crew' (her Dad, Pam, Ashley, and Grandma Phyllis).
After breakfast, we went back to our 'homebase' (Stacxey & Bruce's) And no, Stacey has NOT had her baby as of 7:49 AM Central 7/17/06. The two of us got knitting stuff at Ben Franklin's, knitting assistance from Pam, took Jamie's painting of her as a child by her grandma to it's new home, and discussed our travel plans and how to pack the car before heading out to dinner and the Texas Roadhouse.
Today's pics are from dinner, our man Austin was our waiter and photographer. Austin refused to dance the little number that all the staff does... it was 15 girls line dancing, Mark noted the stupidity of Austin if he wouldn't go a dance with all
those girls... oh well, at least his stage name is the capitol of Texas! Missing from the pics is Ashley, who had to work. After she got off work at 9:30 we all met up again (this time with a packed Honda Civic) and met up at Whitey's Ice Cream (again), I went back to my chocolate shake with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups... oh yeah! Jamie had her usual of chocolate malt with Buterfinger. As you can imagine it was a tearful goodbye with mixed emotions. Leaving home is not an easy thing to do, especially so far away. Those of you who know me, know I will do my best to take care of her and if not.. she will take care of me in one way or another.
Steph- here is Harper as promised!

I just had to tell you guys -- I saw a commercial today with none other than Erik Estrada. It was for some resort in Texas. There was a website, but I can't remember it. But if I see it again, I will let you guys know!
Hope you're having a fun, safe trip!
I predict a boy on the 20th!
Oh my goodness - Harper is adorable! Bailey and Remy say Hi Uncle Jeff! They can't wait until you and Jamie are back in CA so they can rough-house and step all over and cuddle on the couch with you guys in true V style. I'm glad you got a little Harper fix to tide you over. :) Jeff, you didn't get out the viking hat when you played with him did you? ;)
Good morning all. Jeff and Jamie arrived in Minneapolis yesterday afternoon and are doing well. I am taking good care of them, I promise. Tune in later for their full report on last night's adventures. I hope this finds all of you well.
