Pre-hike photo op!This weekend, we took advantage of the warm spring weather to stretch our legs and visit with a mutual friend, Andrea in the South Bay. We met up in Los Gatos and went out to Villa Montalvo for a hike: http://montalvoarts.org/hike/ The hike was in order since we indulged in a sinful evening of bread, cheese, wine, veggies and lots of other goodies thanks to Andrea's culinary talents!

Posing with our dear friend & faithful blog reader, Andrea at the top of our hike! It was her birthday weekend so the hike and dinner were a treat for us getting to celebrate with her a day early! 
Thank goodness, when you hike up all the way, it means the way down is just that DOWNHILL! It was a perfect, cool spring day for a hike, everything was so green and lush. All 3 of us kept saying we are so spoiled to live in such a beautiful area and we really need to do this more often. On the way up to Andrea's house for dinner, we could even see out to Santa Cruz and the ocean from the vista views along the road, we're so lucky!
