With only 3.5 days of school left this week, Jeff is excited to start his summer. We got news that he was being honored as Educator of the Year by the San Ramon Rotary last Thursday and he's finally embracing the title and last night we went up and took his picture by the school's marquee! I think he receives this award every year in my eyes because he works so hard but it was really nice to see it recognized by others too!
This weekend also brought Aric, Emily and Asaka Merolli to town for their first West Coast Tour! We were happy to get to spend some time together with them and see what pros they've become as parents. Asaka is a healthy, mellow baby and such a sweetheart!
We also spent Sunday evening at Pat & Bob's with Greg, Ali and Brooke as a belated birthday celebration for Ali! Uncle Jeff enjoyed getting goofy and spending some time with Brooke - he was a trooper playing with her doll house, Barbies, stuffed animals and finally some T-ball practice! She's got quite a swing! We hope the summer will be filled with fun weekends just like this, our next visitors are my mom and George and they arrive this Thursday!
